Rasika

Service was outstanding, and I was very pleased. However the food was a bit disappointing. Everything was tasty but tended to be on the sweeter side, which is unusual for Indian food. Sweetness complimented some dishes like the spinach chat but was really overboard for the eggplant stack and the vegetable curry with coconut milk.

Great restaurant! The best food in DC. However, there are distinct differences between this location and the other Rasika in West End. While both have amazing food, the Penn Quarter location tends to have slightly worse service. Not enough to kee us away, but it is noticeable. You cant go wrong with either location though.

The service was great, the atmosphere was great, the black cod changed my life. Between that and their lentil curry food is ruined for me. The food here has really changed how I think about Indian food and what it can be, cannot compare this restaurant to any other one I have been to. Will gladly come back if I ever make it back to DC!
